A Few Quick Updates

It’s been a quite a while since I’ve shared any updates with you. I have so much to share!

Don’t worry, since I’m on a pretty tight deadline, I’ll make it quick.

First, if you haven’t noticed, my website has gotten quite the makeover. No more western motif pink and brown (what was I thinking?), it is now elegant, clean, and just a bit dark. Plus, it has my two favorite patterns in it: black damask and gray pinstripes. I figured since I’m getting closer and closer to the release of the Reluctant Lords, I thought it was time to rebrand my social media. It fits me to a T and I am so pleased with the way it turned out. Thanks so much to Dawn from Austin Design Works for making my vision a reality!

Second, I am happy to announce that I am a published author! I had a flash fiction piece published in the Charmed Writers Flash Fiction Anthology earlier this year. For those who aren’t familiar with the terminology, flash fiction is any complete story (beginning, middle, and end) with a word count of 100-1000 words. This particular story is 500 words. “One Night at the Masquerade” tells the story of Adam and Maxine when they meet for the first time since Adam went away to school. You can get a free copy of the anthology on Prolific Works.

Third, I have a title and release date for my Common Elements project. The Worth of a Viscount will be out in the wild on October 1st. Its so exciting! Knowing I have a release date, a title, a story, and a book cover to share with you guys… I can hardly believe it and it’s not even out yet! You can find out more about Worth here. The names should sound familiar, as they are the same characters from my Charmed Writers anthology. This is a few years later and things are quite different… As I get closer to publication, I’ll be able to share more about them with you.

Fourth, I am a busy, busy author! While I’m staying pretty close to home (no jet-setting for me this year), that gives me much more time to actually write. Which is good because along with Worth, I have a short story coming out in an anthology in November, and I’ll be working on a Valentine’s day story to be released early next year, and The Seduction of the Duke is scheduled for release next summer, and another anthology all about historical fashion out sometime before 2021. Not to mention the stories by Alexis Ramón…

Fifth, and final update (for now) is Alexis Ramón. In an attempt to keep my historical and contemporary stories and heat levels separate, I chose to create a new pen name. Even though these stories are erotic and take place in modern times, you’ll still find the deep emotions and touching stories. They’ll just be hotter. Alexis has a novella out in an anthology this August, and at least two out next year. You can find out more and follow  Alexis Ramón by visiting her facebook page

As you can see, I’ve got my work cut out for me. Along with seven stories, novellas, and novels I have planned, I’ll be signing up for projects as they come along–all while I’m still working at the Day Job. I can’t wait to share them with you!

Happy Reading, and I’ll see you next time!
