Where he is not so fond of his friend…
If you have not read the previous Sunday Snippets, I recommend doing so first. You can find them here.
Previously on Sunday Snippets: Delaney is whisked away to join the women in the theatre box before Graeme can take action against whoever interrupted their moment.

Graeme watched as his wife was ushered away and brought into the little fold of women now laughing and chatting away as if she had always been one of them.
“You should have stayed home, Claremont,” Stryker said as he shoved a champagne flute into Graeme’s line of sight.
“For once, we are in complete accord,” he muttered, taking the flute and downing the sweet beverage. “When you said take her to the theatre, I had no idea you lot would be here.”
“Come now, you couldn’t expect to keep your wife a secret forever.”
“Not forever, no, but I had hoped for a little privacy while making amends.”
“Bah, you don’t expect privacy in a theatre box in the middle of London.” He looked over to where the women were standing, appreciatively taking in Delaney’s scandalously altered dress. “Then again, perhaps you do.”
“Holden,” Graeme growled his real name as a warning and he narrowed his eyes at his soon-to-be former friend.

Leave it to a friend to inspire my hero to violence. He may have been saved from acting upon it the first time around, but it seems he is on his own now. Will he prevail and rein in his anger? Though, to be honest, I think it is more jealousy than anger!
It’s Sunday, and here in the US, that means it’s Mother’s Day! For those you out there who are moms, I wish you all a Happy Mother’s Day! I will be working the Day Job today, but will be home early enough to cook my Mother dinner and FaceTime with Dearest Sister to wish her a happy day.
For those of you who are moms, I wish you the Happiest of Days and hope that you get to spend it with your loved ones. For the curious ones out there, here are some Fun Facts on Mother’s Day.
As always, comments are more than welcome. And for more wonderful writings by wonderful writers, make sure to visit the WeWriWa blog and Snippet Sunday Facebook page.
