Where he meets up with a friend…
If you have not read the previous Sunday Snippet, I recommend doing so first.
Where he goes for a walk…Previously on Sunday Snippets:
After leaving a disastrous session of Parliament, Graeme, Duke of Claremont, partakes in some very un-dukelike behavior and walks towards his destination instead of taking a carriage.

“Bee in your bonnet, Your Grace?”
Hurried footsteps fell in beside his and with a quick glance to the right Graeme was able to confirm his tormentor was, in fact, Stryker. He chose to ignore the question and his friend smiled broadly, keeping pace as they walked side by side.
“I lost my temper,” Graeme said simply, breaking the silence one block later.
“In there?” Stryker shot him a puzzled glance and gestured with a thumb over his shoulder back the direction they came from. “Those old boys couldn’t hear half of what you shouted at them and bes-”
“Not at them, you fool,” he growled, “at her.”
“Ah,” Stryker nodded and another block passed in silence.

And here we meet Stryker. Graeme’s closest friend in the city and the one man he can trust to hold a confidence. He plays an important role in this book and does, indeed, get a story of his own. You may eventually recognize him from my Blog Hop Teaser, as Stryker is none other than Andrew, the (eventual) Earl of Penfield.
This scene is mostly dialogue between the two men, so there isn’t a lot of action going on. But this is an important turning point in the book and in Graeme’s relationship with Delaney.
