Where his friend leaves him at their club…
If you have not read the previous Sunday Snippets, I recommend doing so first. You can find them here.
Previously on Sunday Snippets:
Graeme’s friend Stryker is telling him how to show his wife he apologizes, while making her the center of attention.

“So I’m an acquisition, now?” Graeme said raising his eyebrow and giving Stryker a sideways look.
“You are the catch – were the catch – of the Season, you have to be aware of that.”
“How you come by your knowledge of society and women will forever elude me,” he chuckled, shaking his head in amusement.
“And that is why you come to me.” Leaning in close, his friend lowered his voice. “Don’t worry, your secret is safe in my care.” Graeme laughed as they stopped in front of Brooks’s and Stryker folded his umbrella, shot his cuffs, and straightened his jacket. “Now if you will excuse me, I have an engagement I cannot be late for. Your Grace,” he sketched a short bow, entered the club and left the duke standing in the rain.

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend. This weekend marks the official start of the holiday season. Lots of food, friends, family and good times! For me, it signals crunch time on revisions of this story and getting ready to pitch it in March. I do hope you’ll all hang around for that.
For those who found me last week, THANK YOU!! I was so worried about making sure my snippet was well written that I forgot to register it on the Weekend Writing Warriors blog. Oops…
If you missed last weeks’s snippet, you can find it here. As always, comments, questions and suggestions are welcome. And for more wonderful writing by wonderful writers, check out the WeWriWa blog for more snippets.
Happy reading and I’ll see you next week!
